| Brief description of the Japan-Caribbean Climate Change Partnership (J-CCCP) Project “Piloting Solar-Photovoltaic (PV) Systems and Energy Efficient Streetlights in Bartica, Region Seven”. The (J-CCCP) brings together policy makers, experts and representatives of communities to encourage policy innovation for climate technology incubation and diffusion. The overall objective of the pilot project is to increase Bartica’s – and by wider extension Guyana’s - share of renewable energy in its electricity generation matrix and the application of energy efficiency in line with those plans. |
