Mariano Tommasi

He specializes in political economy, institutional analysis, poverty, and social policy. He has published articles in journals such as American Economic Review, American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Monetary Economics, International Economic Review, Economics & Politics, Journal of Law, Economics and Organization, Journal of Theoretical Politics, Journal of Theoretical and Institutional Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory. He has been President of LACEA, Guggenheim Fellow and Brookings Institution Non-Resident Senior Fellow. He has been a visiting professor at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and UCLA.

He served as Coordinator of Strategic Management, Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Presidency of the Nation, where he collaborated in the coordination of the Cabinet of Human Development.
