Alfredo Gonzalez is a Human Development Specialist at UNDP’s New York-based Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean.

He was Executive Coordinator of the Human Development Research Office in UNDP Mexico, and has been a coordinator and co-author of several publications on development in Mexico and in Latin America. He has also participated in the development of infrastructure projects for natural gas and electricity from the private sector and served as an external consultant to various federal and state agencies in the country.

Gonzalez has a Master of Public Policy from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Political Science and International Relations at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE).
