Exploring the Dynamics of Political Youth Participation in Local Governance in Latin America, the expansion of democratic governance from national to local governments, it is a challenge as well an opportunity of participation for young people. It is imposible to talk about democratic local governance without considering the relevance of the youth today.

Similarly, this study shows that young people have projects, dreams and great capacity to be agents of change and contribute to human development in their communities.
