Part of a regional study titled Enhancing Gender Visibility in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change in the Caribbean this report presents the findings of the Dominica Country Assessment. This report provides insight on the extent to which governance mechanisms for risk management effectively incorporate gender considerations. The study contributes to the achievement of gender equality and supports the development of better public policies for risk management.

The recommendations aim to move forward the discussion into concrete actions which recognize the importance of gender as a crucial element in addressing climate change, creating efforts to mitigate it and developing successful adaptation practices.
